Motion J3400: Extra Rugged and Durable Tablet PC
The J3400 is the latest addition to the rugged tablet PC product line of Motion Computing, a world leading mobile computing and wireless communications solution provider. This one is targeted at providing unprecedented flexibility and strength to those mobile workers who need to work under harsh work conditions. The Motion J3400 aims to maximise performance and eliminate all those bottlenecks that hampers growth and productivity.
The J3400 touts a long battery life and extremely rugged body that makes it fit to use in different work environments. The J3400 is recommended to use across various industry verticals including healthcare, construction, field sales, services and government sector. This is because the machine is IP-52 rated and complies with MIL-STD-810F standards which makes it strong enough to endure bumps, drops, spill sand dust. If you were to drop a normal mobile computer like the Sony Vaio VGN-FW31ZJ down a flight of stairs, then it would most likely break upon impact; whereas the J3400 will shrug it off and keep performaing. The J3400 is powered via an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and packs a shock mounted display and 1.8 inch shock resistant hard disk drive. You can also opt for a solid state drive up to 64GB. Other goodies include a 2.0 mega pixel camera, GPS (with location tracking and Geo-tagging), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Speak Anywhere technology, smart card reader, biometric fingerprint reader and several other tools and applications.

The New and Extra Rugged ThinkPad X200t by Lenovo
Lenovo has just revamped its popular ThinkPad X200 and launched a new tablet PC named ThinkPad X200t. The new mobile Lenovo computer is aimed at maintaining high performance level without draining out battery too fast. It’s been rugged from outside to offer protection against scratches, bumps, shocks and drops. The ThinkPad X200t has got a magnesium alloy chassis and is made of hard quality plastic that gives the unit the same level of strength and reliability a Panasonic ToughBook has.
The ThinkPad X200t equips a much slower processor as compared to X200. The company has installed a low power dual core SL9400 running at 1.86GHz in order to extend battery run time. But the performance level is not highly dropped as the CPU is accompanied by a 2GB hi-speed DDR3 RAM running at 1,066MHz. You can use the Lenovo ThinkPad X200 as a notebook and a tablet. It comes with an advanced digitiser pen wit firm grip and soft touch finish to deliver utmost precision and unprecedented handwriting recognition experience. ThinkPad X200t assures that you always carry all your favourite stuff with you. It packs a 250GB hard disk drive, enough to store large multimedia files.
Like many others, this tablet also features an accelerometer that automatically changes the page orientation according to its position. Apart from this there are numerous options for both wired and wireless connectivity. The only downside of this portable computing machine is the absence of SSD option. Of course, as with every wireless Windows machine, this one is also fully capable of running Apple’s Safari on Windows browser.

HP has finally launched the much awaited Pavilion tx2500 tablet PC for those mobile users who seek performance and entertainment on the go.
