The New and Extra Rugged ThinkPad X200t by Lenovo
Lenovo has just revamped its popular ThinkPad X200 and launched a new tablet PC named ThinkPad X200t. The new mobile Lenovo computer is aimed at maintaining high performance level without draining out battery too fast. It’s been rugged from outside to offer protection against scratches, bumps, shocks and drops. The ThinkPad X200t has got a magnesium alloy chassis and is made of hard quality plastic that gives the unit the same level of strength and reliability a Panasonic ToughBook has.
The ThinkPad X200t equips a much slower processor as compared to X200. The company has installed a low power dual core SL9400 running at 1.86GHz in order to extend battery run time. But the performance level is not highly dropped as the CPU is accompanied by a 2GB hi-speed DDR3 RAM running at 1,066MHz. You can use the Lenovo ThinkPad X200 as a notebook and a tablet. It comes with an advanced digitiser pen wit firm grip and soft touch finish to deliver utmost precision and unprecedented handwriting recognition experience. ThinkPad X200t assures that you always carry all your favourite stuff with you. It packs a 250GB hard disk drive, enough to store large multimedia files.
Like many others, this tablet also features an accelerometer that automatically changes the page orientation according to its position. Apart from this there are numerous options for both wired and wireless connectivity. The only downside of this portable computing machine is the absence of SSD option. Of course, as with every wireless Windows machine, this one is also fully capable of running Apple’s Safari on Windows browser.
