Sony Vaio P11Z/W: Super Slim Laptop with more Features than you would Expect
A truly mobile laptop, Sony Vaio P11Z/W is packed with features. Weighing a mere 625gm, it is extremely lightweight and more compact than other netbooks in its class. Easy to carry and extremely portable, the netbook from Japanese manufacturer Sony is available in range of colours to will suit your personality. It has a good combination between functionality and performance and sturdy enough to handle the knocks of everyday life. With 21mm depth, it is also one the thinnest laptops ever. It has an 8 inch screen, with the widest aspect ratio and a resolution of 1600 x 768 pixels. With sharp and vivid images, the P series laptop offers ample space to work with a number of Windows simultaneously. Though text and icons may appear too small for some users, it is an efficient and practical netbook. It has an integrated Intel graphics card but not very good at 3D performance.
The keyboard is average considering the small size of the net book and the keys are responsive and move with precision. Protruding through individual holes in the chassis, the keys offer faultless usability and easy typing. The Sony Vaio P11Z/W netbook has a pointing stick located in the centre of the keyboard but no touchpad and no space for a palm rest. Powered by a ULV Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the net book is not very efficient. Running at 1.33GHz, the net book is backed by 2048MB of memory offering enough power for office tasks. It has a 1.8-inch 60GB hard drive, with a 128GB solid state drive. The P series laptop has two USB ports but there is no display-out, modem or Ethernet connection. However, the net book has wireless connectivity with both 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in place.
