Samsung NC10 (NP-NC10-KA01UK): Long Battery Life and Compact Size make this Model an attractive Netbook
The Samsung NC10 does not seek to be a pioneer or integrate some unconventional technology to revolutionise and transform the market of netbooks. However, what it seeks out to do is to use existing technology in a tighter format giving you excellent results. It has been designed to look compact and crisp. The developmental team at Korean firm Samsung have clearly studied the market and incorporated on hand technology to use in their own way.
The outcome of this is a 10.2 inch Netbook. The exterior has a matt finish with silver trim around the edges and all-in-all it feels robust. Powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 which is sufficient to run basic programs with ease, the performance is quite good. The 160 GB hard drive is ample space for a portable 10 inch. The 10.2 inch LCD has maximum resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels while the Intel GMA 950 graphics card onboard delivers good quality pictures. The Samsung NC10 (NP-NC10-KA01UK) netbook has three USB slots and a 3 in 1 card reader. The SIM card slot and the Bluetooth features enhance connectivity. The best aspect of this laptop is the increased battery life that goes on to about six to seven hours. It comes with a pre-loaded version of Windows XP and McAfee Internet Security. The size of the screen and the keyboard along with its position is a plus point. Though, the hinges allow the screen to be moved to a maximum of 45 degrees which could prove to be a disadvantage.
A remarkable option that has been aggressively priced the Samsung NC10 (NP-NC10-KA01UK) delivers great performance for a great value.
