Acer Aspire One D150: The Netbook with a Large Display
The new Acer Aspire One D150 is just like the original 8.9 inch Acer Aspire One netbook but offers bigger display with some nice upgrades. The display has been stretched to 10.1 inches without affecting the 1024×600 pixels resolution. However, the keyboard is little bit disappointing because of small sized keys and inconvenient mouse button. But if you want to try your hands on the latest technology without spending too much then the D150 from the Acer company is a wise purchase.
Apart from the display the battery too has been improved. The predecessor of D150 features a three cell battery pack which has been upgraded to six cell battery pack in this version. Now you can run the Acer Aspire One D150 continuously for 5-7 hours on a single charge. The 10.1 inch display renders awesome graphics and is ideal for watching high definition movies and play 3D games in high resolution. The D150 runs on Intel Atom N270 Mobile Processor and sports 1GB PC2-4200 DDR2 Memory. For added speed and performance you can upgrade the RAM up to 2GB. A web cam is also integrated with the netbook.
With Aspire One D150 you will never fall short of storage space. It’s 160GB 5400rpm SATA HDD ensures large amount of storage space with minimum latency. Astonishing graphics performance comes from the Intel GMA 950 Integrated Graphics. Apart form this, the netbook also features variety of wireless options and interfaces for establishing wired connections, making it perfect for running Safari on Windows.
