Another true Browser Alternative

Apple Safari becomes more Responsible

Apple Safari for windows is now a more secure and responsible browser. The company has recently fixed a major bug in the application, which was bothering users worldwide. Earlier, Safari was suffering from a big online security flaw. It allowed for software downloads from malicious web sites without flashing any kind of warning on the screen. Apple has seriously apologized for this and recently launched an upgraded security patch, which resolves this problem completely. Now Safari will ask the user before downloading any software application from any web site.

Initially this security flaw threatened the Microsoft Corporation as a majority of Windows XP and Windows Vista users were getting affected, but while preparing the security patch for the application, Apple seemed to place blame on the Microsoft only. According to Apple, the flaw is in the Microsoft’s popular operating system. Apparently Windows doesn’t have a proper procedure to handle the executables and therefore the user downloads anything to his/her desktop even if its malicious without being informed.

The new security patch not only prevents the user from downloading the malicious code into his personal computer, but it also changes the default location of downloaded internet files from the desktop to the Microsoft Windows Vista download folder and Windows XP document folder.

The Apple Safari has to be one of my favorite web browsers, it is elegant in operation, fast loading and user friendly. Its the 3rd widest used browser behind Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox respectively.
