Apple Safari Reviews: the other Side
Apple Safari has managed to get its firm grounding in the web-browsing arena. Everything has its pros and cons and Apple Safari is no different. Apple launched Safari with the aim of becoming the No.1 web browser in the world, but this goal is still realistically a ways off.
Apple Safari contained some flaws when it was released. Its beta browser version, which is inherently full of bugs and vulnerabilities, was downloaded in excess of a million times on people’s desktop PCs and laptops. Things didn’t turn out quite as proposed. Safari faced eight security vulnerabilities from the beginning and then released an update patching three critical security flaws in the browser. So that it is recommendable to have Symantec Norton Personal Firewall 2006 (Win) (EN) on your computer, or another form of security, before using the browser. The second flaw is its graphical user interface. Apple Safari had chunky font rendering and its design did not match with the original background. Safari also lacked customization capabilities. All plug-ins crop up on the screen and there is no proper management. All these reasons expose Apple Safari’s weaknesses, but no browser is without faults, and should Apple successfully patch these mistakes, then it will be unstoppable.

“Carpet Bombing” on Safari: Stay Alert
Apple Safari has created a buzz among various other web browsers like Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera. After much hype a threat has been detected. Talking about its security, if you think that your computer is all safe and sound after using Safari then you could be mistaken. A “carpet bombing flaw” has been detected on the computers of Safari users.
There is a risk for window users and they should curtail the use of Apple Safari browser before patching the necessary security update. While using Safari with default settings it automatically opens unwanted or booby-trapped file with no prompting on the Windows users desktop. Due to this problem unwanted icons flood your desktop. Whenever a person opens Internet Explorer the unwanted file automatically causes all your notepad files to open. Sooner or later this force fed file takes full control of your computer where you are unable to do anything. This threat can make things all the more vulnerable for hackers. Of course they can choose far more nefarious code. Possessing the latest antivirus & security software is always recommendable. This carpet bombing flaw is occurring frequently among the Safari users.
Apple Safari can download files with no prompting. After discovering this flaw it has created havoc among the Safari users. At present this flaw exists in Apple Safari. So all you Safari users get alert as your computer or laptop can be hacked at any point of time by the online hackers or online eavesdroppers.

Safari gets surrounded by the black Clouds
Apple Safari users are lucky to have it downloaded on their computers. It caters to all the demands of the internet users. After experiencing a huge success among other web browsers, Safari is getting criticized on various grounds. A new issue has popped up which is creating a controversy for Apple.
In addition to offering itunes and QuickTime to its users it is also offering Safari 3.1 on Windows through the Apple Software Update pop-up. Mozilla firefox opposes this by saying that Apple is adding a product to the auto-update list that users never requested. The update offers something more which is a breach of interest for other web browsers. It ultimately undermines the safety of users on the web by eroding that relationship. They call it as a malware distribution practice which should stop immediately. However, for Apple it is a marketing technique to popularize their software. They want their software to reach the desktop PC of the masses and that is what they are actually doing. They are making convenient for both Mac and Windows users to get the latest Safari update from Apple. The war between the browsers is never ending. For now Apple safari is surely creating a buzz among the internet users. Soon, it will take over the other browsers available in the market.

Safari aims high
Apple Safari since the day it was launched has created hype. There are so many web browsers available for windows already on the market, why would Apple Computer introduce a new one? This is a mind-boggling question isn’t it? Only time can evaluate its performance. Its new 3.1 version caught most Apple-watchers by surprise.
Apple Safari as compared to Internet Explorer or Mozilla Fox will still take some time to settle down in the web market. This new kid on the block is fast and sure to make networking & communication easy, but some problems are occurring with it. The font and toolbar option can be swapped around but the customize option is only accessible from the menu if you right click it and other main options are also not located in the menu. On various other grounds also Safari is criticized like the color of the tool bar is gray which hides the icons. So, it surely has a long way to go.
Apple safari lacks some things but it surely has great speed and sleek design. Everybody have different perspectives towards it, some like it some don’t. As they say time is the best remedy, so as Safari aims high lets see what happens!
