Safari sets new Precedents: rigorous ACID 3 Browser Test Passed
The Safari on Windows version claims to be best performing browser out there, and recent test results have only supported this case. The ACID 3 Browser Test is not a full measure of a browser’s capability, but instead places the browser under one very difficult scenario. The logic is that if the browser can handle the incredibly arduous test page, then it can likely take on any challenge. And the ACID 3 test is certainly a daunting challenge. In comparison to its predecessor, the ACID 2 test, the ACID 3 test is designed more to test how the browser processes the DOM and deals with Javascript. Read more
